This is us ziplining in the jungle in Belize. Well, actually, we are not ziplining at this moment, we are posing for a picture. Later, we will zipline - memorably. At least we are safe with our red hats. And lots of equipment around our middles. Hey Carla, Hey Mersada!

Easter Dinner...the preparation

This one's for Bighair... Her favorite...Pecan Pie. And the pecans are chopped just like she likes 'em. Now of course it's not cooked yet, but it will be soon.

Went for a run on the waterfront - sunny. First run in two weeks.

Now coffee and some blogging before getting back to stage 2 of dinner prep. Scalloped Potatoes. (Specifically for Lauri...)

Happy Easter to me. Today we purchased a new table and chairs. Old table gone (thanks Lauri) and new table in.  

On Not Running the Half-Marathon

I am currently not in the race. I started it. That is, I said "Go!" to the 40 or so participants. But I am not running. Because it takes a while for the runners to return, I have come home to print up some nice recording sheets so that I can take down their times when they pass the finish line.

I regret not training, not being motivated, not running.

Life in Belize. I wish I was back there.

Leanne & John visited for a few days in March. How great was that? Shown here at Butze Rapids. And speaking of Butze, someone has gone crazy there - there must be 50 new signs up explaining the flora and fauna. And a couple of outhouses. Very cruise-ship-ready.
