Twenty-Five Years of Wedded Bliss

How did this happen? All of a sudden, I have been married for 25 years. Holy cow. I'd blog a nice wedding snap, but there aren't any nice ones. The only together photo I found was 4 years ago in front of some bottle house in the Kootenays. However, we're having a party tonight (any excuse, right?) and so maybe someone will take a fabulous shot and I can post it tomorrow. Of course, the actual anniversary date is July 4, so I shouldn't get ahead of myself. We might not make it. I like to take it day by day.

It was a good time. I would've partied on a bit, but the Spouse was sleepy and had to come home. I can't imagine 25 years of togetherness, and it isn't like there hasn't been some heartbreak along the way. We love you guys, and will be there for the 30th, the 35th, the 40th, et cetera.

Happy Anniversary! It was nice to see so many people gathered together to celebrate with you. What Leah said was absolutely true, the two of you are so open and welcoming to new people in town. I certainly wouldn't have lasted 19 years in town if it wasn't for my friendship with you and Larry.

Maybe by your 40th anniversary I'll be able to celebrate my first, you never know.

I truly love you both, Paul
